Zimmerman Capital Management, LLC was founded by Jeffrey Zimmerman, CFP®, AIF, to provide a more personalized level of service to clients needs. This would be an alternative to the experience offered by much larger, national Wall Street firms that seemed to continuously chase the hot investment of the day without focusing on the individual client’s goals and risk tolerances.
Jeff is a life long resident of Salem, Ohio. He attended Kent State University and received his Certified Financial Planner designation in 1991. His experience includes both a large, national financial services company and a smaller regional broker-dealer focused on financial planning. He has been practicing fee-only since 2000, focusing on the fiduciary obligation to his clients.
Involved in the local community, Jeff has served as member and leader of many local organizations and committees. He previously coached local basketball, baseball and soccer, served on the City of Salem Board of Zoning Appeals, the Salem Rotary Club, St. Paul School Foundation, the Salem High School Alumni Association, and many others. Currently, he serves on the board of Lifeline of Columbiana County Pregnancy Center, the City of Salem Civil Service Commission, and as Habor Master of the Pymatuning Century Sailing Club.
Jeff lives in Salem with his wife of 30 years, Jennifer. They have three adult children, Abi, Sara, and Jeff.
